Privacy Policy.
Short version: Air Match answers and your cart stay in your browser. We collect contact details only when you order, book or ask for a quote, and we use them only for that.
Last updated 13 Oct 2026. This policy follows the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its duties come into force.
Air Match
Your answers (room, size, who uses it, priority, budget, how you want it) are kept in your browser's session storage for this visit and are not sent to us or anyone else. None of the questions ask about health. The "who uses the room" question is optional. If you press "Share my match", the link carries a short code after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers.
Your cart
The items in your cart, and your answers to the window and heater questions, are kept in your browser's local storage on this device, so the cart is still there when you come back. They are not sent to us until you place an order. Clearing your browser's site data empties the cart. After you place an order, a copy of it is kept in this browser tab's session storage so the confirmation page can show it; it is deleted when you close the tab.
Orders
To deliver an order we ask for your name, mobile, email, address, pincode, preferred day and time, and any note. For a car swap we also ask for the car, the year it was made and its registration number, which we use only to find the right filter. For a sealing item we record your answer to the heater question and that you read the airing guide. For a business invoice we ask for your company name and GSTIN.
When you place an order, these details go to our order sheet in the body of a secure request, never in a web address. The sheet is a form service we control: Formspree (a US company) or a Google Sheet (Google), so your details may be stored outside India. Only the named team members who run orders can open it. The WhatsApp message we open for you carries your order, pincode, slot and reference, not your name, address, phone, email or registration number; WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy terms, and it shows us your number when you send the message.
Payments are made on the payment provider's own page (Razorpay or Cashfree) or in your UPI app. We never see your card, bank or UPI PIN details. The provider tells us the amount, the reference and that the payment went through.
Booking and quote forms
The Free Room Test form asks for your name, phone, pincode, area, address, preferred day and time, purifier model and number of rooms. While checkout is not open yet, the callback form asks for your name, mobile and pincode and sends them with your cart, so we can call you back about that order. Business proforma requests also ask for company, work email, GSTIN, the offer and quantity. We use these only to arrange your visit or prepare your proforma. The consent box is never ticked for you. If your pincode is outside our area, the details go on our waitlist, and we use them only to tell you when we start there.
Our forms are for people aged 18 and over.
Retailer links
When you click through to a retailer such as Amazon.in, that retailer sets its own cookies to know the sale came from us. Its privacy policy applies there. We may count clicks: we record the product, retailer and page. The counting service sees your IP address, as any web request does; we do not keep it.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent personal data. We use no advertising trackers. We do not set cookies of our own. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the UPI QR code drawing script loads from cdnjs (Cloudflare) only on the confirmation page; each sees your IP address, as any website request does.
Readings
PM2.5 and CO2 readings from your home are shared with you. We publish a reading only with your consent, and then only with your area and pincode, never your address. For workplace and school offers, readings go to the employer or school only with the person's or the school's written consent, as each offer states.
How long we keep it
We delete enquiry and waitlist data after 12 months, or sooner on request. Order records and invoices are kept as long as tax law requires.
How we keep it safe
Requests travel over an encrypted connection. The order sheet is open only to named team members, each signing in with their own account and two-step verification, and we delete what we no longer need on the schedule above.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to us. We reply within 48 hours and act within 1 month.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: send us a WhatsApp message or an email saying so. We then stop using your details and delete them, except records the law requires us to keep.
You can name another person to act on your behalf if you die or cannot act yourself. Tell us their name and how to reach them.
If we do not resolve a complaint about your data, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
